LLB Semester 1

Hello guys!!!

Today, my first semester of LLB got over. It honestly feels like just yesterday my farewell at MCC ended, and now my first semester at Sathyabama University is already done. Time is flying so fast.

Talking about this first semester at Sathyabama, I never thought I’d meet such a great bunch of people. From the very beginning, I found people who are good to keep around, people who make me laugh, cheer me up, and make things better. I can truly say they’re the best. Rey, Durga, Keerthana, Rahini, Iruthaya Rani, and Elakkia — they’ve all been the best people I’ve met this semester. This bond feels so surreal and natural, and I truly hope it lasts forever. And I’d love to say that Rey has been my guardian angel right from the beginning.

Okay, so talking about what happened this semester, starting with a banger, Freshers’ Day!! Oh my goodness, I’ve never seen Freshers’ Day celebrated this grand. The DJ, dance performances, guest entries, and the best part is the fireworks!!

After that, college days went well, but the way the college functions is very different, and it’s still a bit difficult to adapt to.

The first few days were slow until CAE 1, but after that, the game started and everything got rushed like crazy. Right after CAE 1, we had only about three weeks to finish all our assignments, then CAE 2, and within just one week, semester exams began. We barely had time to breathe, it all happened so fast.

But in between all this hustle, Rey and I presented a conference paper, attended the college dance club auditions, and even got selected. I also went for an internship during this time. And the best part, just a week before my birthday, all of us went to VGP Wonder World and had an amazing time. My friends even surprised me before my birthday by making a cake using Lotte Choco Pie, and that moment was truly heart-warming for me.

And finally, we ended this semester by playing Secret Santa and exchanging gifts with each other.

I’m truly grateful to God Almighty for everything. This semester treated me right, and I hope that continues. The endless laughter, fun days, and busy hustles made this semester truly fulfilling.

Hello guys!! Today, for my Myth and Literature paper, I gave a presentation on the myth of Leviathan . Leviathan is a mythical sea serpent that is mentioned in the Bible and other Hebrew writings. I write this with a heavy heart, to the place I wasn't interested to join at first, the place that slowly became my comfort zone, that began to feel like home. Retreat: Day-3

I found my answer in today’s retreat! My passion for becoming a lawyer started in 9th grade and has stayed with me ever since. However, since law colleges were too far away, my parents didn’t allow me to join. Instead, they promised that after completing my undergraduate degree, I could pursue law. I enrolled in a BA English, but over time, I started losing confidence. I became more introverted and began doubting whether law was the right path for me. I started considering other career options, thinking that maybe I wasn’t suited to be a lawyer. But i couldn't completely give up on law. My desire to study law never left me. Despite wanting it badly, I still lacked confidence and felt unsure about whether I could truly become a lawyer. I was between pursuing law or choosing another path.
