Rest Day

Hello guys!!

After three days of fun, today was a much-needed rest day. I woke up late and had a relaxed breakfast. I wasn’t in the mood to do anything productive; I just wanted to sleep the whole day and enjoy some quiet time.

In the morning, I helped my mom cook. Later, I decided to watch cartoons after so many months. It felt incredibly nostalgic. I was reminded of the days when I used to watch them endlessly without any worries. Now, with everyone held up with their phones, even television seems to be forgotten. Life back then felt more peaceful and simple.

After having lunch, I took a long nap, which left me feeling refreshed. In the evening, my mom prepared some healthy snacks for me. Then, I got ready to go to church for prayer. Since it was the first Saturday, we had the rosary prayer for Mother Mary. Spending that quiet time in prayer brought a sense of peace to my heart.

I found my answer in today’s retreat! My passion for becoming a lawyer started in 9th grade and has stayed with me ever since. The Myth of Leviathan

Hello guys!! Today, for my Myth and Literature paper, I gave a presentation on the myth of Leviathan . Leviathan is a mythical sea serpent that is mentioned in the Bible and other Hebrew writings. The word Leviathan comes from the Hebrew word "Livyatan", which means twisted or coiled.  In the Old Testament, Leviathan appears in Psalms 74:14 , as a multi-headed sea serpent that is killed by God and given as a food to the creatures in the wilderness that represents God's power and dominion over chaos and the forces of evil, symbolised by the mythical sea monster.  It also appears in several books of the Hebrew Bible in the Psalms, the Book of Job, the Book of Isaiah, the Book of Enoch.  Isaiah 27:1 says – "In that day the Lord with his hard, great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea".  This verse prophecies that God will destroy Leviathan to end chaos and restore the universe.  In the Medieval C...

Starting Fresh: My First Blog Entry

Every journey begins with a single step, and this is mine!! Welcome to my first blog.  As we all know today is valentine's day and on this day I'm beginning my journey of loving to write blogs ;) This valentine's day i decided to love myself more - to put myself first before anyone or anything.
